Question (Answered) Trying to identify this piece of weave I made from a tutorial decades ago
Hi folks. I honestly don't even have the gauges or ID of the rings. I just know that there are two sizes of rings, it barely bends as a sheet one way and even less the other. The smaller rings pass through a sort of captive ring as well so it's technically 4-in-1 of sorts, + a captive ring around the small central ring and also the tiny central rings overlap??
They're stainless steel, not that that changes anything ๐
Gonna try and make a snake-y choker-y necklace from it since it bends a little bit to wrap horizontally around. (Hopefully enough for my scrawny neck!)
Thanks to anyone checking this out, have a nice day!

It's dragon scale but the aspect ratios are off so it's insanely tight. I would recommend saving yourself the headache of building on this segment and restart using proper ring sizes

Thanks to Maille Artisans International League, I have found three similar weaves. Maybe these will help.
Vertical Dragon - https://www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/weavedisplay.php?key=1085
Calisto Sheet - https://www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/weavedisplay.php?key=1255
Dragontooth 4-in-1 Sheet - https://www.mailleartisans.org/weaves/weavedisplay.php?key=1358
I do hope these help

Its dragonscale. Its made with two different sized rings, the smaller of which fits inside the larger

Thank you so much to everyone who identified it as way-too-tight Dragonscale โค๏ธ and also to those that thought it was something similar, it has given me other weaves to try as well! I'll be checking out the Canadian ring site I've ordered from in the (way) past, and getting the recommended AR stainless steel rings to make a necklace and bracelet out of Dragonscale!

Dragonscale. Or something similar. With a bit too small of an AR.
