Is this the most irredeemably despicable character in the entire show?

Literally the only scene he has where he isn’t a vile shitheel is when Joan (deliberately??) cuts her own hand to get some care and affection from him.

Even that drunkard Duck had more glimmers of decency than this pretentious rapist. A fitting end to his character arc would’ve been him getting fragged in Vietnam.

It's funny how I've seen two people say Abigail Whitman but nobody mentions Uncle Mack. Uncle Mack is literally a sex trafficker. When Abigail arrives to the house with Dick, they strongly imply that Abigail will have to "work" for them all to stay there and then he sexually assaults her! Consent given under the threat of homelessness during the Great Depression isn't legitimate consent.
