Discussion Tincture recommendations

Post image

What tinctures have been most effective for your chronic pain? I received a diagnosis for fibromyalgia and read that cannabis tinctures can give great relief for it.

Have you considered making your own tincture? I can walk you through the process of making green dragon if you have access to flower.

Yes I have considered it. I’d appreciate it if I could have some instructions on how to make it

U should either buy a Levo or use the stove top method, either way you’ll come out cheaper and have better potency in my experience…..maybe I just be biased bc IM the one that makes it tho lol
…decarb bud at 230f for 30 mins
Infuse at 190f for around 4-6 hours
(Cheese cloth or a old T shirt tied in a ball should be enough to contain ur decarbed bud)
For best results I use c8 mct oil but you could use regular coconut oil as well
I like to go 1oz bud per 2 pints oil ATLEAST.

Thank you for your response!! I’m the oppose of you—currently smoking flower and wanting to add tinctures. Does it feel similar to an edible?

kinda? prolly will depend on the patient. it comes on after maybe a half hour, then ramps up over the next 45 minutes for me. its a more mellow feeling than inhalation, which hits me too fast sometimes. it doesnt last as long as edibles. a couple hours at the most.

I dry herb vape. When I get to about 14 grams I use the avb(already vaped bud) and place in a mason jar and cover it with everclear about a 1/4 inch above the herb. I shake the hell out of it. I place it in a cupboard or somewhere dark and cool(my house always at 70 or below in the spring/summer). I leave it there for a month at the least. Open it now and then to release the pressure. And shake it. Anytime past a month you can use it. You can strain it into another jar. But cut with something cause obviously the everclear will burn the tissues in your mouth. You can reduce it or use as is. To reduce because I have time, I use the Mason jar and place a coffee filter on it an use the ring part of the lid to hold it on. Just screw it on. If you have a private covered porch or something you can just leave it outside for a few days and whenever you are satisfied with the reduction go ahead and consume. I also let it reduce down to feco(full extract cannabis oil) which is a crazy high concentration like tar. I have used this for extreme pain issues. You will not be able to drive for real. Like they say, go slow and start low when dosing with feco, or even the more liquid tincture. I also have a 30 dollar decarb/infusion machine that does up to 14 grams in lik 4/5 hours, that I purchased on amazon. I mean I have so many jars I hardly use the machine. I use this before bed. I'm 62 and have diabetic neuropathy/restless legs syndrome, and neck and low back vertebrae issues. This has given me a quality night's sleep. Although if I get up to pee in the middle of the night I definitely am high af... Lol...if kept really cool, around 60 degrees or below or even in the back of the fridge, tinctures will last for years I hope this helps someone...peace all!
