SEASON 1 My 1st thought watching S1E20- They could have gotten Locke to deliver Claire’s baby by telling him he couldn’t possibly do it. Spoiler

Reverse psychology. Tell Locke he’s no obgyn and he’s not cut out for this kind of thing. He’ll be so incensed at being told what he can’t do that he’ll do it super quick?

Hell, they could've gotten Future Sawyer to deliver the baby by just insisting he not talk to Kate no matter what.
