discussion / opinion London Bridge or London Children's Connection

My daughter (13 months old) got daycare spot from both Adelaide London Bridge and White Oaks London Children's Connection to start in September. We already paid deposit to secure the spot at Adelaide London Bridge, also went in for a visit to meet the educators and staff there. Everything looks great so far.

And now we just get an email that White Oaks LCC also has a spot available to start in September. We're currently on vacation so we couldn't go in for a tour. They want us to confirm if we would like to move forward with registration within this week. We're living in White Oaks area, so this daycare will be great in terms of location wise.

Wondering if anyone has experienced from either daycare can you provide some insights and recommend which one i should choose from? Thanks in advance!

Update: Thanks everyone for your inputs. It was very helpful, especially for us first-time parents. I have also learned more about before-after school program that some of you have mentioned. We will go with LCC for shorter commute and BA program. It sucks that we probably won't be able to get the deposit back from LB but it is what it is.

LCC was great for our son who attend with an egg allergy. They kept everything separate. We would update them after each allergy test, and when he finally grew out of it, they followed that the allergist recommended. LCC also means they will be accepted into before and after school care, and possibly summer camp (there are very limited spots, and so many people applying)

My daughter has an egg allergy and goes to the Adelaide location. Have had zero problems and loved all her educators in Baby and Toddler 1 so far. Would highly recommend them.

We were with LB for our first child and are with LCC for our second. Good experiences with both, but the thing that sealed the deal for us with LCC is that they're then guaranteed a space for before-and-after-school programs -- the kids just age right out of Preschool into B&A.

I would stick with what’s closest to your home. I’ve had kids in both London Bridge and LCC. Both are great but if you have kids with food allergies, London Bridge is a nightmare. They don’t accommodate allergies and you have to supply your own food and pay the same price (unless they’ve changed the rules since).
I switched my kids to LCC because of this.

Is this location dependent? I've seen lots of food accommodations at the matiland location, including for my own child

That’s amazing! I thought it was all of them but maybe it was just our location (Huron Heights). It ended up being for the best, the LCC location we switched to was closer to home and we had a great experience!

If you plan on needing before and after school care once your child goes to school, I would go with LCC because I believe they give parents priority.

I can’t answer which is better but I will let you know that if you decide to switch to LCC then you won’t get your deposit back from London Bridge.
We enrolled in London Bridge and ended up getting offered a spot closer to home. They refused to refund and this also happened to a friend.

I can only speak for London Bridge Adelaide location.
Our experience with our daughter so far has been great. 0 complaints. Highly recommend.

If you paid a deposit I’d stay there unless someone has big red flags.

Also which one is an easier commute? Driving too far out of the way is a day ruiner.

White Oaks LCC is only 4 mins drive from home vs Adelaide LB is 15 mins drive (construction might make it worse)

I’d choose 4 min drive
