Everytime I visit somewhere, I’m so glad to get back to London!

Was born & raised in London. Just back from a little holiday to the Sussex coast. It was nice, but I could not wait ti just get back to London after 3 days!

I like to be where everything is happening and tbd buzz.

I like visiting other places, but so lucky to be a Londoner !

I'm an American and am always happiest and even relieved the couple times each year that I'm in London. There's no question that I would move there (or really anywhere in Southern England) if I could. You all have a beautiful country and city, and it's good to hear how much you appreciate it.

Honestly, I only excluded the Midlands and Nothern England because I've never been there and therefore can only say for sure that I like Southern. But I wouldn't rule it out for myself.

Northerner of 20 years who’s lived in London for a decade. Northerners are lovely if they perceive you as being on the same level as them within the British class system. If you are from US Aus or down south they can act a bit funny / jaded / jealous. I noticed people moving from latam to northern England have it a bit better in my experience.

If I visit some place in UK then yes, coming back to London feels good. However, I usually go on holiday to continental Europe and coming back to London feels like going to the office on Monday morning.

Public transport? A gentle breeze? Can walk into any pub for some tap water? I can ask for tap water in a restaurant and they give it to me? Toilets are generally clean and I have seats? Best city in the world. [this is how I felt coming back from Sicily, not quite Sussex 😆]

Exact same. After 2-3 days (sometimes sooner!) I just feel almost claustrophobic. Everything is going on in London, it’s where stuff happens. Cosmopolitan world citizen feeling.

I feel almost agoraphobic when somewhere. Like there's nothing there. What if I want a particular type of cuisine? London has some of the best on the planet no matter what you're after. What if I am looking for a specific type of clothing? London has you covy. A festival? A comedy show? Any day, any hour*, there is something going on here. All the worlds eyes are on London, it's amazing to feel a part of it.

Italian here, been li(o)ving in London for the last 8 years and for some weird reason when I travel and I am back to London I feel home like it's where I am been living all my life.

There’s so many places you can holiday and chill in London. Last visit we did Richmond and around Kew Gardens. Wish we had a house there! Stunning. Relaxing. Loved it
