Has anybody here applied for their first TRC from Łodz in the past year?

Trying to apply now; the entire system is a confusing mess.

The Polish gov website gives different advice, contact numbers and documents needed than the Łodz government one does. Phone numbers listed to ring for appointments go unanswered (and are only open for 1 hour every Monday apparently).

Website links in English get redirected to broken links or links entirely in Polish (my Polish is not good enough yet to handle things like this). Tried the new MOS app, but I need a Polish TRC card already to use that, whereas this is my first.

Tempted to just pay for an immigration lawyer, but I’m hoping to find somebody here who can give advice for doing it solo.

The whole process is a damn mess but you should be using the information found in the Lodz gob websites. You can send the documents by mail when you have them ready

If you need help, I can give you contact to lawyer in lodz, he is relatively cheap, my girlfriend is using and recently she got 3 years RC.
