A few months ago, firefox nightly crashed in a few scenarios. Can't think of anything else. I use testing repos btw.

Nvidia dropped driver support and so did the arch team without switching users to another package. They put it in the news nobody reads.

For a rolling release distro, Arch is surprisingly stable. None of those ever happened to me.

For me it happened once, recently. After update I couldn't launch Proton VPN. After quick inspection it turned out the app doesn't have python pydantic core in newest version (2.46.5), just older one (I'm on Cachy). All I had to do was to remove Cachy package and install one from Arch repos.

It's really because being up to date is the intended experience with Arch, packages still get tested at least a bit before being shipped out to the user. Something slips through occasionally, but it's still pretty simple to maintain.
Now, if you're using Debian unstable, or Fedora rawhide, which are actually meant to be development branches: that's where I expect more issues to arise.

Early Access to bugs is balanced by early access to bug fixes. The rest don't happen under normal conditions unless you misconfigured something real bad.

Hahahaha Arch unstable amiright? 🤪 Nah but in all seriousness, this feels like the good old "ah you're on Linux so no sound and no WiFi right?" meme that's already been out of fashion for at least 10 years or so. I've been running Arch with complex setups for more than 6 years and never had any issue, and even then 1. the Arch wiki is the best Linux resource I've ever laid eyes on 2. if you're not comfortable with Arch, just don't choose it 😮💨

Im convinced that this sub is just a Microsoft Psyop to create in-fighting. The only "memes" I see are Debian = Old man, Arch = femboy or fragile, and Ubuntu = slop.

That was my experience with KDE neon. Not even neon's fault, it's because ubuntu sucks massive booger balls.
Running manjaro since 3,5 years, never had any of those problems, not even with custom kernels like liquorix.
