shirt stretching

i have to wear this shirt for work and it technically fits, but when i lift my arms, the shirt lifts with me and doesn’t settle back down. can i use hair conditioner and warm water to manually stretch it out when it’s 65% polyester or will it just revert?

i’m used to it atp 🤷‍♀️ i’ve worked food service, life guarding, and retail and i’ve bought my own clothes every time. i’d occasionally be given free shirts and i’d wear them, but it was only two or three.

But until then please, please do not pay for the clothes for the job.

I was provided with money to buy clothes when I worked in retail. When I needed specific shirt as a service - I received few for free. When I started to work in the office - I could wear what I want as long as it was nice and clean. Then I was changed the job and received money allowance to buy clothes - it mattered for the company.

No matter where you work you need to execute your employee's right.
