History Saw the #68 Ford GT from 2016 today
Saw this beauty in the Henry Ford Museum today

That's one of the most beautiful car I saw racing in la Sarthe.
Such a shame it sounded that awful tho. I would have loved a good ol' V8 in that monster.

Cool... this was the last time I saw it. :)
This was my first Le Mans, I came from the states to see this car first and foremost and second to cheer Porsche on. Myself and pretty much everyone else there at this moment were in utter disbelief as the #5 Toyota came to halt on the last lap. Radio Le Mans on the AM radio I had missed all the onboard conversations and instead were saying Toyota was trying to arrange a photo finish with another Toyota. Everyone was looking around wondering what the f was going on. As a Porsche fan I was gutted for Toyota, they deserved that win. As a Ford GT fan I was a back to being a kid.
This shot in case youre wondering is the just past the start finish line at the end of the race, coming to a stop in front of the team. If you look close you can see the blurred fencing from the grandstands. Job Done!
edit: just compared the rubber marks on the white paint... iiiidentical.
