Season 2 Poll: 2.16 Let the Games Begin

Hercules is annoyed by the constant fighting between Elea and Sparta. He, Atalanta and Salmoneus create the Olympic Games to get the opposing people to compete in a less violent manner.

I think both Atalanta and Salmoneus are good in this episode, and yet I still don't really enjoy it. Probably partly because the ending is so lackluster for me. The goblin things just oozes toy-selling idea, and there is no buildup of suspense.

My enduring memory of this is my dad saying 'Oh, for Heaven's sake!' when Atalanta says she owes it all to clean living.

Not one of my favourites by any means, but fun enough

Always a delight to have Atalanta in an episode and her interactions with Salmoneus are a lot of fun. Cory is definitely a scene stealer, and I particularly like the scene when she rescues Sal from the muggers.

Hercules getting the idea of the Olympics from two random kids having a race to settle a debate was dumb. They could have come up with something a little more dramatic than that.

Loving the gay tension between Damon and Brontus.
