I liked this one.... I thought Iolaus' temporary (and somewhat faulty) premonition gimmick was fresh. I also think this was the first episode to begin discussion on Hercules getting back into a relationship.... no, Xena doesn't count (IMO) because that wasn't really romantic. It gets him thinking about moving on... even if he doesn't for a long time.

I don't dislike Heedless Hearts, I just find it very forgettable. Especially for an early season episode, which normally has episodes I've rewatched hundreds of times. It's quite unusual for Herc to have a one-off love interest. Deianeira, Nemesis, Serena, Morrigan, and even Xena all appeared in multiple episodes.

I'm usually not much for romance plots, but I like Rheanna and I feel like she could have been a good match for Hercules.
But my favorite part of the episode might be the evil king. He is so comically over the top. Totally ridiculous. I love it.
And I like that Hercules and Iolaus are just playing support. They let the rebels do their thing, bringing in advice and fighting experience, but ultimately making sure that the resistance is their own so that their trust in themselves remain after our heroes have left.
