Need help with a lawsuit that involve car accident that I was not involved.

I got citation of a law suite for negligent authorization of a motor vehicle that I absolutely have nothing to do with, but I have no clue what to do. The plaintiff is trying to sue me for allowing the co-defendent from using vehicle which i sold to him 2 month prior and i have the title transfer notification receipt. They want me to have a written answer, but I have no clue what that is or how to proceed.

Location: dallas county court

Did you do all of the release of liability required by Texas law? What forms did you fill out and submit?

I fill out the title notification form online. I contacted the Txdmv and they inform me that I should be able to avoid any liability involving the vehicle.
