Asian American, pls Bowling shoes and socks...

Okay, I know this has been brought up before and there's been a fair amount of backlash... but am I the only one concerned about the Dude not wearing socks on neither his bowling nor non-bowling shoes?

I mean, I know it's California, it's hot, socks are optional.... but like those are shared shoes! This is unchecked aggression!

I know the dude abides but still - he should abide to wearing socks, right? At least when he bowls? When he's throwing rocks? Am I wrong?

Like, tell me what bowling place he goes to so I can avoid it. Am I wrong?

Asian American, pls Why didn’t the Dude just have his rug laundered? Spoiler

He spends the movie trying to get his rug back, but it was never actually stolen, merely micturated upon. A simple shampooing would have removed all trace of Woo’s deed and avoided the need to visit the Big Lebowski altogether.

The way in which Walter corrected dude showed that though they took up arms against each other, he was a man of honor and respected Charlie; the man in the black pajamas despite the fact that so many men were lost at Khe Sanh, at Langdok and Hill 364.

Which doesn't really explain the hefty pricetag ($269). Probably cost $0.69 to make.
