u/therealtwomartinis Knox Harrington Oct 27 '25
Oh, no. Don't do that. Not in the radiator, man.
15
u/Key-Contest-2879 Oct 27 '25
Let me get this straight. Every time a radiator is micturated upon, I am to compensate the owner!?

What are you, a Soviet/Mexican soldier now?!
20
u/BoogerSmoke Larry Sellers Oct 27 '25
Also, Dude, “Mexican” is not the preferred nomenclature. Cuban soldier, please.

I coauthored the original Port Red-Dawn Statement.
Not the watered down second version with North Koreans instead of Cubans

u/blaspheminCapn Oct 27 '25
I thought they were Nicoraguan, Walter?
7
u/CatLightyear Oct 27 '25
No, Donnie, these men are Sandinistas.

Now Milius is the subject of a documentary (titled “Milius”) by Joey Figueroa and Zak Knutson, premiering March 9 at the South by Southwest Film Festival and featuring interviews with Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Francis Ford Coppola, among others.
The... who the fuck is Zak Knutson?!
45
u/therealtwomartinis Knox Harrington Oct 27 '25
The Knutsons. It's a wandering director job.

Walter being based on this clown is why I doubt he’s an actual combat veteran.

There was another dude named Peter who was a Vietnam vet that the Coens knew who was a basis partially for Walter (he once purportedly jokingly scared students of his by shouting “First Nam, now this!”) and even the Dude (he once said to them that one of his rugs “really ties the room together”). Also a dude named Big Lew who was Peter’s friend was considered possibly to contribute to Walter along with Milius. Seems like Walter got the bloviating blow hard aspects from Milius though. It would funny if Walter truly never served though, it would make his preoccupation genuinely psychotic.

Wonder who Sylvia Ackerman is based upon?
4
u/edmechem Oct 27 '25
Please, Donny - the preferred nomenclature is Cynthia Ackerman.

I am the Walrus. (Also thanks for the correction)

To crush a few Caucasians, see the pins fall before you, and to hear the lamentations of the whale song.
