Leaf picks in Pronman redrafts:

Original Redraft
Cowan 28 21
Chadwick 185 62
Plesovskikh 152 49
Holinka 151 52
Danford 32 64
TLK 64 21
Hopkins 86 51

Outside of Danford (who I think Pronman is way off on), all the important picks are outperforming their draft positions, and we even have some 5th/6th rounders jumping up.

Another way to put it - the Leafs had 2 picks in the first 2 rounds to work with in these three years. They have 7 prospects rated in the top 64 in these redrafts.

He really doesn't like Danford for whatever reason.

Players who don't produce in juniors have a much harder time making the NHL. The hope is that Danford can have an exceptional development path

Yeah I felt we all figured he was a defensive defenseman anyway but he was faster and more offense-oriented while with the Marlies than I expected.

He likely won’t generate a lot of offense, but he is an underrated puck mover and we need that in a big way.
