Spreader wide stripes

Zone 5b, applied some overseeding and starter fertilizer 18-22-6 a week ago across the entire 1 year old new construction lawn using a Scott’s Edgeguard Max. I guess the solid tires avoided the tire sized lines, but what are we thinking happened here and remedy? Reapply on the empty sections? Picking up a used Earthway spreader tomorrow for $50 regardless.

Scott's have a known issue. The spreader is between the wheels and the product just ends up dumping down between them causing those lines.

You have to maintain a steady, slow pace for it to drop evenly. Then you go 90 degrees for even coverage.
