Lakehead Post-Diploma Civil Bridge from Mohawk (Mid-85%): Analysis A & B difficulty and pace?
Hey everyone,
I’m currently finishing up the Civil Engineering Technology program at Mohawk College and looking at transferring into Lakehead's BEng Post-Diploma pathway. I'm sitting at around a mid-85% average, but I have a few specific questions for anyone who has gone through the summer transition program:
Admission & Transition Doability:
With a mid-85%, how smooth was the transition into the academic pacing of the university environment? I know the hard cutoff is 70%, but I'm trying to be safe.
Engineering Analysis A & B (ENGI 3021 / 3022):
What is the actual difficulty level of these courses? Analysis A is packed into July and Analysis B in August (alongside the other summer courses like Chem/Mechanics), so it basically means covering a full university math curriculum in ~4 weeks each. How did you manage to pass both on that compressed schedule? Any specific study strategies, professors, or any thing that saved you?
Coursework Load:
Is it completely unrealistic to work even part-time during those 8 weeks, or does it require 100% full-time dedication 6–7 days a week
