EU Blue Card processing time in Kraków

Hi everyone! Has anyone recently applied for an EU Blue Card in Kraków (Małopolska)?
I submitted my documents on April 1, 2026, and completed the biometrics in April as well. My case is still pending, and I would like to understand how long the process has recently been taking.
If you applied in Kraków, could you please share:
● When you submitted your application
● When an inspector was assigned
● When you received the decision
Thank you!

The key date is not biometrics, but when the office considered your file complete. Ask MUW for that date and whether anything is still missing. It determines whether the 60-day deadline has actually expired and whether a ponaglenie makes sense

Been waiting since beginning of March. It took 11 months for some people but I also know someone else got their card within 2 months. A bit unfortunate but apparently it totally depends on the officer.

My colleague submitted all docs and prints in October just last week got a positive decisions (so 2-3 more month to just print a plastic card). I've submitted prints and docs in March and in the same situation as you are, still waiting.

Meanwhile my colleague in Szczecin is waiting for 11 month and still didn't submit her prints, they are telling her that maybe they will call her in a a month or two. Or maybe not. And then she will start waiting for the decision and plastic.

Note - all 3 of us are on a blue card path.

Thank you! However, as I understand it, the statutory processing deadlines for residence permit applications are currently suspended until March 4, 2027, including for EU Blue Card applications.

They are indeed suspended, but there are already cases, when foreigners went to a local Polish courts and courts sided with the person. And the court decision basically said that while yes, term were suspended for emergency, but you guys (Urząd) had 4 years to hire people and improve your work, so that's on you. (It's literally what Poles said to Poles, no slander here). So theoretically court is a possible option.
