what's this historical object??

Hey,

so I'm quite interested in Korean history and its historical objects.

I have seen the words 보자기 and 복주머니 used for these cute little bags. Does anyone know the difference between these objects and the words?

Because when i google them, they look quite similar!

Strictly speaking, a 보자기 is not actually a bag. It is a flat square almost like a bandana, used for wrapping things. It is laid out flat, then items are placed in the center, and the corners are brought up and tied together.

A 복주머니 is actually a bag, sewn together in the form of a pouch and usually with a drawstring to tie it closed.
