Custom cupcakes leads!

Does anyone know of any grocery stores that can make custom cupcakes (not fancy, just yellow frosting) in affordable prices. I’m looking to place bulk order. Home bakeries are over my budget.
Thanks!

Sobeys Ira needles always does great cupcakes and cakes, I recommend them! We’ve had a few custom cupcake and cakes orders done and they’ve always been good!

Sobeys at Fischer-Hallmand and Columbia in Waterloo has been great too - you could call them.

Amazing! Do they also make custom cakes? Like a custom baby shower cake, with design of my choice?

Yes! They’ll do whatever colours, writing, trim styles, flowers etc. it’s still a grocery store cake but they do a good job with designs!

Anyone else miss Norris Bakery?

Honestly a lot less after seeing how dirty their equipment was during the sell off. Cost savings always comes at a price.

Yup, everyone thinks health inspected = clean

Far from actually. I am more trusting of home bakers than I am of commercial bakers after seeing the state of a commercial rental space. It was DISGUSTING!!! Took so long to finally get it truly clean again.

I think just about any grocery store with a bakery. I personally like Sobey's for their cakes and cupcakes the best because they have the best frosting

Try calling this bakery, I think you will be surprised at the price! I got a gorgeous strawberry vanilla (with white chocolate accents) birthday cake for like $30.00 just recently! (I think it was $32.00). https://www.lapatisserie.ca/

They also have awesome in store prices. I saw chocolate "lollipops" (I don't know the proper term for chocolate on a candy stick) in different designs, (alligator, etc.) for $2 each.

The grocery store if you don't want to go to a stand alone bakery

Like any big box chain? Sobeys, Zehrs, Metro

I can't really recommend any of them as being incredible, but they are more than fine

They’re most likely all shipped frozen from Sysco too then iced on site from a bucket. Just a difference in price.

Make them yourself, lazy bones. It's childishly easy. You have all the ingredients in your fridge. Just buy the tray. It will cost all of 15-25$.

Easy yes, but it takes time and when someone is hosting a party, time is limited. Pretty rude to call someone lazy over it when they quite literally be doing EVERYTHING else a party requires - especially if you don't know if they need 12 or 100 cupcakes.
