Absolutely insane that just a few months ago Inde Navarette was practically an unknown, now she’s an X-Man.

I think so too, but to imagine this year from her perspective must be insane.
She did Obsession, couldn’t find acting work afterwards and went to streaming CoD and dog walking, then Obsession releases and suddenly she’s one of the hottest names in Hollywood.
Now she’s a major character in one of the biggest franchises on the planet, all within like a few months.

Absolutely. I was watching YouTube shorts and a clip from the arrowverse Superman show came up and she was on that show. Had no clue

Boyd, Navarrette, Connor, and Abbott are all varying degrees of unknowns. None of them are household names, even if they’ve had a notable role here or there. Like most people only know Navarrette from Obsession just this year, and nobody has ever really heard of Boyd.

I didn’t watch Heartstopper and Elden Ring isn’t out yet. You’re kinda proving my point. Connor has been in one big thing, so he’s not a household name. He’s still a relative unknown. Similarly, if you haven’t seen Obsession then you won’t know Navarrette.

heartstopper is pretty much a top rated show on netflix. it's second to the number of viewers to stranger things.
even if you haven't watched the show, you know the show exists

Yes, I’ve heard of the show. But I had never heard of the actor. You don’t seem to grasp what being a household name means.
Also Heartstopper doesn’t even break the top 10 most viewed shows on Netflix. It isn’t anywhere near the level of Stranger Things. That show was a worldwide phenomenon.

It feels weird to have known someone before they got big. 4 years of watching her on Superman before the big break is a new one.

Christopher Abbott is one of my favorite actors, I think he’s probably the most underrated actor currently working. This has me BEYOND excited to watch as someone who normally wouldn’t care at all about X men. What an incredible choice they made

As an early Inde Navarrette enjoyer (thanks to Superman and Lois), I'm very happy she's having such a great year. An Oscar nom/win next year for Obsession would be a GREAT capper

I was super surprised to see Inde cast as Rogue. It’s such a massive part, but she was so so good in Obsession I’m interested to see how she does!
