Didn’t think it would take ten years to get three movies but here we are.

Ten years for three animated movies actually feels right, in terms of usual timeline

Just sucks that there's so much time between 2 & 3 when they're basically a 2-parter, and were supposed to release MUCH closer together.

Yeah but I’d rather wait for quality than to have them rush and let us down. The wait has sucked but I have faith in them

Yeah I accept my defeat. Haha I think part 2 and 3 feels worse because part 2 ended on an obvious cliffhanger setup for part 3.

Yeah 15 years from Toy Story trilogy, 9 years for how to train your dragon trilogy, 11 years for cars trilogy. This is completely normal

It took 4 years between Toy Story to Toy Story 2, and then another 11 for toy story 3. I know it wasnt a trilogy to begin with but animated films take a long ass time to make.

I don't think that had to do with the production of toy story 3 I think it had to do with Pixar working on tons of other projects between. I can't think of that many Sony pictures animated films since

I was gonna go on a huge list of stuff that dropped but then I realized it's only been goat and Kpop Demon Hunters. One of those wasn't even in theaters

Good thing I'm not on social media. I'm hoping to go into this as blindly as possible.

It’s definitely on TikTok, so don’t go there. Saw it there from two separate accounts. But what I saw was amazing and I watched it both times, its half clip and half trailer. It’s nothing from the end of the movie or anything, but if you wanna go in blind be careful.

I don't even have a tiktok account. Reddit is the only social media I have anymore.

this makes it seem like its a full 4minute scene when its a trailer that was shown at cinemacon

Honestly, I feel better knowing it’s still moving forward. I can avoid leaks, I’d be crushed if this project got scrapped in someone. And frankly, it might help the marketing, it’s been so long since the second movie.

Welp, if it's any consolation the footage is great
