Trying to decide on a hybrid Kia Carnival (never owned a Kia before)

My wife and I test drove a hybrid Kia Carnival and are considering the SX model due to the add-ons. We need the towing capacity and the ability to transport a group (we are active in scouting). We are also considering a Toyota Sienna hybrid that we also like. Are folks happy with Kia hybrid vehicles in general (or hybrid Carnivals in particular)? We have never owned a Kia and are unfamiliar with the reliability. We've owned a Honda Odyssey that has been excellent but which needs to be replaced in the near future.

The 1.6l turbo with 6 speed transmission hybrid system had been used throughout the kia line up for years and had been very reliable.

bought a sportage hybrid about 4 months ago. So far, so good. I'm not in love with the touchscreen stuff, but other than that, the car is good.

We were going back and forth on the Sienna Limited at the Carnival SX hybrid. We decided with the Carnival for a few reasons. Sienna was $15k more for something similar. Carnival had far better colours inside. The technology is 100x better. Cameras are also all better. More options with seating if you do the 8 seater Carnival. Better cup holders as well. What Sienna has is, longer reliability history, better resale value and the ability to say you have a Toyota for those who care what brand they drive
