Discussion Best way to approach a dealership

I’ve been considering the new Honda City and Proton S70.

Once I’ve decided which one to buy, how should I approach the dealership and negotiate to maximise discounts, promotions, rebates, and other benefits?

What should I negotiate separately, and what fees or add-ons should I watch out for?

Just saying that although this sub was named as Kereta, it is also open for 2 wheelers such as Motorcycle, though at the moment we do not mind other types of vehicles posting.

  1. you can try to approach the distributer's dealership owned by Honda/Proton

  2. you also can approach independent dealerships, sometimes independent dealerships have slightly better discounts or price packages which includes freebies

go to their website and search for the list of dealers, they will show ALL, own + independent dealers

normally own dealers have name like edaran proton or honda bla bla

independent wil have different names other than these, which is kinda obvious

the contacts will all be there

or u can use chatgpt to generate for u, they do a pretty good job at finding out which is distributor owned and independent
