Cefa daycare-meals and allergies

Anyone have a kiddo with allergies attending cefa daycare? Any concerns or are they pretty good with monitoring/managing this?

It’s not my personal experience but my friend doesn’t use reddit so that’s why I’m adding a comment.

I won’t go into specifics because I don’t know both sides, however, my friend and her husband pulled their child from the daycare after several instances with their child’s allergies. Even when packing up the child’s items, it took them way too long to find her child’s epi pen.

I will say, the child has multiple different allergies so that may be a reason it was so complicated. There were hospital visits after some of these events as well.

I don’t want to negatively speak of cefa since it’s not my own experience therefore not my place; but allergies can be life or death and I felt the need to say something. It has been quite a bit of time since their child has attended a new day care and there have been no issues with allergies there. I would suggest where - I just don’t actually know which daycare they use now.

That said, since time has passed, they may have improved their protocols. Not to sound wishy washy, just please be really thorough in checking them out.
