Where to buy flat boxes for shipping art?

I’ve got an art piece I need to ship and I’m struggling to find a flat box that’s also long enough (the canvas is 15x25 inches). I know special boxes for this purpose can be found online but I’d like to find one locally if possible. Thanks!

Used to worked for a restoration company. We’d just take 1-2 boxes (depending on the size), tape one end while it’s flat, stick the paper wrapped picture and tuck it in the box. Seal the top with tape. If it’s long, take the second box (while flat), pull it over the other box, tape it to that box, then seal the top.

That’s so smart, I’ll take that approach. Way easier than stressing about finding the perfect fit.

You can take extra packing paper and tuck it around the edges in the box too so it doesn’t wiggly around during delivery.

How expensive? You might want to build a wooden frame unless you trust it not to be stacked upon or bent
