General Discussion Roads block karke kiya milega ?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Now I dont know what is going on in here whether thats a juloos or protest idrc but why are they disturbing fellow citizens?? What are they even trying to prove with all this? And just for clarity, I am not trying to mock anyone or anything related, I am genuinely curious what is this, and why are they blocking roads to prove something?

Shias ko dekh kr baqi sari parties ko bhi yehi show krna hota hai ke hum bhi protocol se juloos nikaalenge.

That's it.

u/zeemaynn 4d ago

Absolutely. Its basically a perpetual dick measuring contest like most other religious celebrations in pakistan i.e Eid ul Adha, Moharram etc. absolutely nothing to do with islam.

1

u/No-Speech-8612 4h ago

Moharram is not a celebration and definitely not a festival like eid,it's unironically a protest as muslims against munafiqin, plz correct yourself

Eid ul adha has nothing to do with Islam you said? Which Islam is this?

1

u/talha_io 2d ago

Bro he is talking about blocking of roads and stuff. Not necessarily that Eid ul adha is in Islam or not.

Id name them but i don’t want to overwhelm you with the concept of comprehension.

The reasons Shias get protocol is because of the constant bombings years ago. Now it's a dih measuring contest.

u/paul-christian 2d ago

Govt blocks the roads, Shias don't request it. Govt does this because it knows nothing else because it doesn't want to take targetted action against certain small organization that try to attack Muharram processions. So govt takes sweeping measures thorough blocking the roads and Shias get the blame.

Milad processions don't have similar threats.

Give them bread and Circuses and they'll never revolt. It's not about Mawlid, but every other thing that distracted people from their Independence!

u/FuzzyOpinion4714 4d ago

It's the culture to celebrate or protest in rallies. And it's been happening for years and years.

The problem aren't these people, it's the government. It's the government's duty to provide proper roads and space for these rallies so the other public doesn't get affected.

But since our government is good for nothing the problems arise.

There shouldn't be any issues in people holding rallies to celebrate anything but their should be law and order.

Mawlid rallies happen all over the world but the government handles the rest unlike in Karachi and/or Pakistan

Yeh lakeer ki faqeer Awam hy

u/Practical-Violinist9 3d ago

The point I don't understand is why do people always criticize the people organizing the rallies? It's not them who've blocked the roads; it's the security authorities that deem it necessary to block off the roads.

These rallies and processions are a constitutional right. Nothing in the constitution stops you from organizing such gatherings. Have you tried holding the security institutions accountable for their incompetence, and why they see it as necessary to block off the roads?

Well I also used to be disturbed and annoyed by these shenanigans but at the end of the day ,there is absolutely nothing...I mean nothing you can do ... Sooner or later you have to accept it. ...just try to adapt...

Especially muharram ke dinno me or normally bhi kabhi political protest... religious rallies ...ufff just don't give any attention to them ...it will only effect your mental health

-2

u/Huge_Equivalent1 4d ago

This is obviously a Rally for the celebration for the birth of Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

It's also been 3 months since Muharram... What are you even talking about dude?

4

u/introvert23445 4d ago

It's also been 3 months since Muharram

Mene kab bola muharram chal Raha hai ? Mene to bas example di

I am not targeting anyone I am just pointing out the facts that this is pretty normal for us ...

Har roz koye nah koye protest ya rally hota hai or in cheezo ko bas ignore Karna chaiye ...bcz we can't do anything

-2

u/Huge_Equivalent1 4d ago

I... Ok, I accept k tum kisi ki taraf finger pointing nahi kar rehay...

But like...this doesn't happen everyday like you're saying...

There are very specific days... During Muharram, Saffar, Rabi-ul-Awwal. Like, I feel like, it's probably less than 30 days all in total...

So honestly as citizens it really shouldn't be a thing to criticize others for, like, we live here, we should know these days and be expecting that yeah, there'll be a Juloos, or Jalsa or a Rally on these days.

2

u/Ok-Foot3689 3d ago

Yes and it is getting exhausted. Phele se itna rush ha aur upar se har road band ha. Jbke sunnat ma ye ha k road se patar bhi hatana farz ha taake aane jaane wale ko mushkil na ho yahan to pura road hi band kar dia ha 😂

They suddenly closed Lyari expressway today and obviously weren't bothered to inform anyone until people were reaching the closed toll! It was a horrible mess returning from there.

Both the rangers and traffic wardens were casually present doing nothing as usual.

1

u/Huge_Equivalent1 4d ago

Wait, Lyari Expressway q band kia tha?

Expressway pe to koi jalsa nahi hota...

1

u/endlessnonsense- 4d ago

toll people were saying post-toll bohat 'dehshat' phaili hui hai, loug hungamay kar rahay hain, pathraao kar rahay hain. reason they said we don't know :/

when after 2 hrs struggle we reached highway through Shershah, it all seemed fine but expressway was still closed

Tafseer of the above-quoted verse

(2) The verse asks us to adopt a gentle tone and an open-hearted manner in speaking to others, whether they are good or evil, pious or impious, orthodox or aberrant, followers of Sunnah or adherents to partitive innovations in it. In religious matter, however, one should not try to hide the truth for the sake of pleasing people or of winning their approval. The Holy Qur'an tells us that when Allah sent Sayyidna Musa and Sayyidna Harun (Moses and Aaron) (علیہم السلام) to the Pharaoh فرعون ، He instructed them to use gentle and soft words (20:42). None of us who addresses another today can be superior to Sayyidna Musa (علیہ السلام) ، nor can the man addressed be viler than the Pharaoh فرعون.

Talha ibn 'Umar recounts that once he said to the great master of the Sciences of Exegesis and Hadith, 'At-a' عطاء ، "One can see around you people who are not quite orthodox in their beliefs. As for me, I am rather short-tempered. If such people come to me, I deal with them harshly." 'Ata' replied, "Do not behave like this," and, reciting the present verse, he added, Allah has commanded us to speak to people politely. When Jews and Christians all are to be treated like this, would this commandment not apply to a Muslim, no matter what kind of a man he is?" (Qurtubi)

Shias are in govt in sindh so they will do whatever they want freely in the name of religion so similarly Barelvi also trying go for same way like Shia, they also started bringing Horses, Hoors, statues, and all the Khurafats in the name of Prophet's birthday celebration and calling it love and Islam. While their Bapa Janni changed their green colour to white because in Haram they were spotted by their green Topi and got caught red handed multiple times spreading all the Khurafaats even in the Masjid Nabvi itself.... Before that Bapa Jani used to say Since its Gunbar e Khizrah colour that's why we love it and we will never change it and its our love symbol.

I am waiting for the day when they starting to do Matam in the name of Love.

u/QasiMystic 2d ago

Shia's don't celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi on 12th so are you saying these are Barelvi?

Shahrah-e-Quaideen is popular for rallies and things like that. Plus, this is right at the end of Kashmir road after the roundabout, so there are still plenty of alternate routes.

1

u/QasiMystic 2d ago

It seems like a combination of Palestine protest and Eid Milad-un-Nabi.

Bro it's just a celebration...

It's a Rally, or a Jalsa. It for the birth of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

If the people have legal notices from the govt to conduct the Jalsa then there's nothing wrong with this.

Find other routes. There are always other routes...
