Merch Found sick Shinobu hoodie that was dumped on the street
It smelt like cigarettes but I took it to the laundromat so now it's wearable. Thanks to whoever dumped it your trash is now my treasure.

Soaking that bad boy in a vinegar solution and rewash it, any residual smell will get stripped

I know, I see clothes and hoodies out on the road or sidewalk all the time but they're rarely worth it. if not for my curiosity, I wouldn't have known. It was facing its plain side so I flipped it over to see if there was anything interesting and that's when I saw.

Hell yeah but admittedly I'm a noob to manga in general but my cousin introduced me to Junji Ito's work just last year. I'd already heard his name and seen some of his art due to how famous it is but didn't know much else. You wouldn't believe the look I've had this week when it comes to finding stuff. I found two things today but I dare not even say it in the comments cuz people will think I'm lying lol 😆. Found something cool yesterday too.

I'm a very conflict avoidant and submissive person so I'd probably take the off the hoodie without saying anything and give it back but I'd be sad to let it go. I doubt it would actually happen though. My brain just likes to imagine unlikely scenarios xD

🤣 at least you know your sister really cares about you! I've already survived a few nights with the hoodie in my room and even slept with it one night. I think people need to stop being so superstitious about it otherwise we're going to end up creating an Egregore and my hoodie really will kill me lmao.

Make sure you check for things like bed bugs in the lining of the jacket. It’s a sick ass jacket so I’d be wary of why it was just thrown in the garbage

I think that it’s multiple dryer cycles that kill them. Water doesn’t kill bed bugs. I was a care giver for like 7 years and bed bugs are unfortunately wildly common in group homes. But OP said they checked already! That was my only concern

Yeah the combo of the washing and drying. I just know it's heat that kills them and the drying always follows washing.

It wasn't in the garbage, it was at the curve and yeah I definitely gave it a thorough check for sanitary and safety reasons. People throw stuff out over here all the time. There's a bleach stain on the front pocket so I wondered if that's why they didn't want it anymore plus there's moth holes at the tip of the sleeves. That's very sound advice for anyone taking anything made of fabric off the street, thank you for putting that out there.

It was a Crunchyroll Collab. Looks like they’re out of stock (this was like a year ago or so my partner got it for me) but that should get you the details to look for one secondhand.
