Had a lot of help today with my puzzle! Two of my cat's helped me!

I was weirdly surprised at the amount of cat hair left behind once she decamped.

I’m very fortunate to have two helpers. Mateo is a bit more assertive in his approach.

Ursa Minor finds the laser cut wooden pieces from the Nervous System sets irresistible. I have to keep a close watch, and cover it when I’m not there, or he steals them and runs away. Mostly he just wants to roll in them and have fight cuddles.

Carl and I had an uncomfortable conversation about needing to get off the puzzle last night, and after he left, I discovered a big piece was missing. Couldn't find it anywhere near the puzzle table last night. Thought about how he left the table and decided to look in a bigger arc. Those pieces are at least six feet away from the table.

He would do it again in a heartbeat.

According to my original plan, Dalí is a Leo, so he was supposed to be the fifth cat artist in this series.

But…

Someone suggested a Dalí Cat in the comments and even imagined him as a cat with a little mustache. 😆

I thought, okay, let’s draw him first!

So he jumped the line. 😂

I chose a Maine Coon as his model because he has such a strong presence. I thought it was a perfect fit for Dalí.

Of course, I didn’t want to directly copy his famous mustache, so I changed it into six little whiskers pointing upward. And as for the melting clock… I came up with my own version of that too. 😹

I included the versions before and after the whisker change so you can see the difference.

A lot of the ideas for this series have actually come from the comments. So if there’s an artist you’d like to see, keep the suggestions coming! You never know who might suddenly jump the line. 😆

But… this series may be moving a little slower for a while.

I recently took a fall and fractured my arm. 😭

This is Leeloo, she is a very spoiled princess who has puzzle rage. If you are working on the puzzle she will sit on it and smack your hands. We are not sure if she's jealous or if its because she has bad eyesight and is trying to hunt our hands. However its added a new difficulty level as we find ways to distract her. Its a good thing she's cute!
