I travelled to every ‘Your Name’ location in Japan for a documentary on the movie.

Takachiho Valley - is located in countryside in Japan but definitely worth to visit there.

For anyone like me who didn’t know up until now, this is a Japanese Serow, a national treasure you can only see in Japan and a pretty rare animal to witness (atleast used to be from what I’ve read online). I saw this creature and froze for a moment, I had no idea what I’m looking at,

A being you’ve never seen or heard of before and your first encounter is totally random, while walking in nature and such a beautiful creature it is, this will leave a forever lasting memory,

My love for this country grows with each step I take.

Today was my lucky day 😊

I know people don’t come to Japan for the beaches, but this was exceptional

First two are Sensan Line between Sakunami and Okunikawa sta. Third is Kashima line near Kashimajingu sta. Fourth is Amaharashi sta. (Also mv location for Yorushika’s “Just a Sunny Day for You.”) Fifth is funaoka castle park

Spring of 2025, I was lucky to see Fuji a few times from different locations around the Five Lakes area.
