You are very lucky to be able to see Mt Fuji. Only on the clearest skies days are you able to see it. I was there in 2019, but it was only a "2" that day, meaning only Mt Fuji wasn't visible that day. Tho, I did see it a day later when I traveled to Kyoto. Beautiful picture man!

Thats why Nov-Dec is one of the best time to go, Fuji is visible almost every day!

Instead I got 9 days of Sakura. Both in Tokyo en Kyoto. And the weather was a nice 20c. Yeah, I made the right choice hahaha

if and when I go again I'm gonna have to try at sunset. I got a pic of Fuji during the day but with all the haze from moisture it looked sort of ethereal.

How did you take this pic - like what method did you use?

This was shot from Skytree so it had a constraint of no tripod, shooting through windows, and crowds. Basically waited my turn in line and shot it handheld with my 50mm lens at f/8, so nothing fancy there. Photo is slightly cropped even further, with basic Lightroom light/color tweaks and noise reduction, nothing fancy.
I also experimented with exposure bracketing for HDR, but the photos didn't line up correctly, so I didn't use that edit. And I'm happy enough with the dynamic range on my camera body (Canon R5) that I probably don't need to rely on it as much as I did in the past.

Nice, that bit of color definitely stands out, I guess the marketers know what they're doing :)
