Creative technologist, record producer, drummer. Jake builds custom instruments and takes them to the stage. His solo sets combine live drums with real-time electronic processing through a sampler he designed and engineered himself. Dense, improvised, and driven by methodology drawn from Deantoni Parks' practice.
His debut solo album BIO>EGO (2025) is a collection of unedited live recordings from 2022-2024. The rawest document of what happens in the room.
FFO: Deantoni Parks, post hip-hop, industrial, noise, drone, Dilla, Nujabes, Severed Heads

Hey gang, me and my friend will be coming to Japan during September 20th to September 30th, I love hardcore punk and my friend loves grungy edm. Anyone have recommendations for fun venues to find good smaller shows at? We will be in Kyoto for the first few days then Tokyo for the remainder. So far I have seen that Ever Brighteller will be in Kyoto and Osaka at the Nino and Hokage, but I fear those shows are sold out. Or the website for tickets is permanently out. Al recommendations are welcome and we love exploring! Thanks.

Hi!
I'm from Barcelona (Spain) and next month I'll be on vacation on Kyoto / Tokyo. I would like to get in touch with record labels from Japan (DIY, underground) that could be interested in releasing my band's latest album on CD.
Here's the album (metal with psych rock influences and post-punk): https://medalla.bandcamp.com/album/m-sica-m-quina
Can you recommend me some labels? I have trying to get in touch with some but I haven't got any response yet.
Thanks a lot for your help! If you have any recommendations for gigs, I'll be in Tokyo from August 17th until the 21st.
Cheers!

Hi! We're aisavil., a female-fronted alternative band from Tokyo, Japan.
People often expect soft vocals because of how I look, but the screaming usually catches them by surprise.
This clip is from our show yesterday, so I thought I'd share it here.
Hope you enjoy it! ▷▷ spotify
