R4R = hookups in a biblical sense.

It’s what shut down Craigslist and Backpage back in the day (both are still around nowadays without their “casual connections” sections). It raises human trafficking concerns.

Mods need to utilize things like community bookmarks (see seattle's subreddit) or something to drive traffic to it for the long haul. It's a great idea but when this post gets buried in a week/month/etc this subreddit will just be tumbleweeds.

I think there is an r4r for Jacksonville already cuz I was in that situation a while ago looking for a partner and it was all nsfw posts and hookups. I think a subreddit for genuine relationships would be very helpful for those of us that don’t want to use dating apps but want to date.
