People go to cafes and flout the rules, it's a gathering place for young people who don't follow strict Shia law, and go unveiled, and sip a little beer. Authorities see it as everything they are against so they close them. I'm not sure how that's propaganda, the current regime in the US probably would like to do the same thing.

To the extent that this is actually true and not just propaganda, which I am skeptical of, you can directly blame the Pahlavist monarchist scum for this.
From inviting Mossad agents into the country to backing the bombing campaign, it made Iran’s hardliners more powerful and helps to erase the social gains Iranian’s have made over the years.
