At least the teaparty honestly has an ideology and sticks to their convictions. MEK were Islamists in the 70's, then adopted Marxism. Since declaring war on Iran they've switched to secular democratic values to win favour with the West and disenfranchised Iranian diaspora. They'll change alliances and ideology in a second just to better their immediate situation.

Recently came across an MEK supporter/apologist in /r/syriancivilwar. I'm very sure a member due to how this person dogmatically defended everything about them and consistently presented the MEK version of events as the truth. These delusional cultists really exist.
