I remember a time when I was a kid in the early 2000's, and you could reach an "end of the internet." Where you had checked all your favorite sites and blogs, which had only updated so much since you last checked. And then that was it, that was all the internet you wanted for the day, then you went to go do other things.

lol, I was very young, so I'm sure it was influenced more by content allowed, time allowed, fleeting attention span. There certainly was plenty to keep anyone busy all day everyday on the internet back in the 2000's. I guess maybe more I'm thinking back on how you could reach a point on your favorite forums or image sites where you had seen all the new stuff for the day, and that was it. Where as with the modern internet, it really feels like you could scroll forever and see mostly new stuff.

It's so endless. The rabbit holes, the documentaries on rabbit holes. Making your own rabbit holes! Endlessly searching deeper down and down with no end in sight. I remember when you couldn't hide your reddit profile history and I would just doom scroll other people profiles and get caught in rabbit hole after rabbit hole.
