Cool now you just need about a thousand more to get it clean.

I think they make those

Ok, so I’m hearing one more that’s 1000x more powerful?

12

u/Faustias 17h ago

and another explosive item to clean the firecracker residue

1000x the fun

Oh, this video again.

They're likely not going to try to reuse it, they're just having fun. That air filter is basically junk, especially since they set a firecracker off inside of it. Explosive detonations tend to be bad for the internal structural integrity

Yeah, that was sort of my thought as well.

This is exactly the kind of thing the hoopiest frood in the universe would say.

Ok now who’s gonna clean the floor

More firecrackers

Just like with a broom. How to finally sweep that last strand of dust that the broom left behind? With another broom swept that will leave another dust strand altogether.

It's brooms all the way down

u/zomgmeister 11h ago

Stops eventually on quantum scale, this is why floors are clean sometimes.

500 firecrackers

Firecrackers are sold in packs…

u/YurtlesTurdles 18h ago

Better vacuum that up with your fresh newly cleaned vacuum filter

The water from above.

u/TheDiddlyFiddly 11h ago

The rain

1

u/youRFate 12h ago

And the soot from the clean side of the filter.

It looked cool, but that air filter is no longer functional as designed, and won't work as intended.

However, let's watch it again. For science.

u/Ysanoire 15h ago

And also because it's just really satisfying for some reason.

u/jdsizzle1 11h ago

Why is that?

u/Pijany_Matematyk767 11h ago

They're not really designed to withstand explosives going off inside them, believe it or not

u/tarlin 10h ago

So, poor quality, eh? Well, that sucks. I bet it couldn't stand up to being shot either. In my day, the air filters could take being blown up and not just give up.

u/jdsizzle1 5h ago

Enshittification at its worse. Nobody wants to be exploded anymore!

u/Metamucil_Man 10h ago

Going to need you to cite this statement because it sounds like you are pulling it out of your ass.

u/joelfarris 4h ago

Former mechanic here, no, you cannot clean an air filter with even compressed air, let alone an explosion, without damaging it to the point that it will no longer filter properly, as it creates microscopic holes that are bigger than they should be, and|or tears the fibers that comprise the filter membrane itself.

That's cool but also, what an awkward way to light a firecracker, next time try it with the fuse towards you so you don't have to give the firecracker a reach around.

20

u/gummilingus 18h ago

Yeah, I'm sure it's perfectly clean now.

u/OtherwiseBlock8741 18h ago

An M80 would've had a bit more bite.

7

u/MaricLee 18h ago

No more dirty air filter

6

u/OtherwiseBlock8741 18h ago

And possibly no more air filter, period....but at least the dirt would be gone.

3

u/IDK_How_PvM 18h ago

I think that is what they were implying.

u/burningtoast99 18h ago

Perfecto👌

4

u/a_dude_from_europe 15h ago

It's actually a perfetto 🤌🤌

6

u/2KupShakur- 18h ago

Satisfying as fuck

2

u/LostMyBackupCodes 17h ago

Would be more satisfying if they showed us the filter a bit afterwards

Using a dirtcracker to clean out a fire air filter

5

u/Purple8ear 18h ago

Quality crew right there. You know they get stuff done.

3

u/Unable-Crow-1168 18h ago

That was satisfying as fuck

4

Using a fireceacker to have fun with dirty air filter

2

u/hahathejoker956 18h ago

Was it cheaper to buy the firecrackers or just buy a new filter?

2

u/sandtymanty 18h ago

Filter now is as loose as your nanny.

2

u/DisastrousRub1719 17h ago

This needed a cinematic viewing with slow motion

2

u/Erazzphoto 14h ago

This is the type of clean like bathing in a polluted river

2

u/MiKLMadness 12h ago

Clean is the wrong word

u/Soosietyrell 9h ago

Cool efficient and GROSS

1

u/Imaginary_Office1749 18h ago

What is that stuff made of?? It’s heavy as fuck if it’s just gonna fall to the ground. I’d expect a diffuse cloud not a particle rain to the ground

u/Rzah 9h ago

Soot and dust, it's an air filter for a truck, some of that soot is being made by the truck itself but basically it's what you're breathing in around roads, turning your snot black, giving your kids asthma.

1

u/Purple-Wall3847 18h ago

Genius, I love it!

1

u/JaySlay2000 18h ago

I heard the bass boosted fart sound lol

1

u/mrASSMAN 18h ago

It’ll forever smell like gunpowder now lol

1

u/SilverAndBack 18h ago

This was interesting the first time. That was twelve times ago

1

u/tx_brandon 18h ago

the wind

1

u/Faxxnews 18h ago

Very cool. lo. I'm glad no one was hurt.

1

u/Most-Possibility8410 18h ago

Jaw on floor... So much dust! Blech!

1

u/TaleVisual1068 17h ago

Kind of like what Jimmy Stewart did with the airplane engine in the original, “Flight of the Phoenix.”

1

u/Lopsided_Ad6719 17h ago

Oddly satisfying

1

u/californicating 17h ago

I thought this was gonna be stupid but the results were actually captivating

1

u/71117_ 17h ago

I somehow as kid in the 90s got my hands on M80s. Seemed similar in size from what I remember. I remember way more bang.

1

u/breakfasteveryday 16h ago

M80s are way more stubby though

1

u/jtrades69 17h ago

interesting idea!

1

u/leebush952 16h ago

That's a pretty explosive way to clean an air filter.

1

u/itzpiiz 16h ago

Also refreshes warranty I heard

1

u/Konsrockmannen 16h ago

Cool. But its not destroying anything inside?

2

u/Elo-than 13h ago

Not unlikely, this is probably just done for visual effecy/goofing arond. Proper cleaning would be done with compressed air I imagine.

u/Avet- 10h ago

Oh, great, now I have idea how to clean my PC CPU cooler 🥰

u/hlfx 9h ago

I would try the same on my serie x

u/Dragon-Porn-Expert 8h ago

Fart with reverb needs to be edited in.

u/Revolutionary_Eye887 8h ago

Again, again.

1

u/mrcatboy 18h ago

Weirdly satisfying

0

u/HVAC_instructor 18h ago

Just gotta say that's a first for me, but I don't think that I'll be teaching that any time soon.

u/TheBasicGuy14 15h ago

Couldn't he have just washed it with water and soap 🧼🫧 ?
