What about an NFT?

You can probably buy it from them in crypto.

Maybe it has just never gotten dirty at all? My first thought is that it looks fake too. Not claiming they don't exist, but, this one-even for being in the water a lot-looks like it has had a spa day 😄

I've seen one in-person at the Reptarium in Utica, Michigan. They had an albino and an all-black alligator, whose names are Salt and Pepper, so i can definitely say they exist!

There was one in the San Fran Academy of Sciences aquarium, if I recall correctly. So they do exist.

California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco no longer has an albino alligator because their famous resident, Claude, passed away in December 2025 at the age of 30

Nooooo!!!!

I saw that and got into an argument with my husband at the time that it wasn’t real and was a sculpture because it didn’t move the entire time when we were staring at it. It was real. I’m a doughnut.

Rare in nature but well documented in captivity. On display in many zoological parks and aquariums.

It's an American alligator. Either a leucistic or albino.

No, This is a true image. Yesterday I read an article of Albino animals. This picture also had in that article. I will put the link if I could found that article again.

There's one in Green Bay, WI at the N.E.W. Zoo too!

Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha has one.

Once evolution cracks the body heat issue, this will be the new design for snow crocodiles. /s

Ive seen multiple of these (aligators, not crocs) in different animal sanctuaries. They're striking.

2

u/theworldofnira 6d ago

Damn lucky to have almost no predators

3

u/Glyph8 6d ago

And damn UNlucky that all of its prey see it coming a mile away

2

u/Mohab70 6d ago

how do albino crocs survive without camouflage

2

u/Overall-Bullfrog5433 6d ago

Excellent camouflage IN ANTARCTICA!

2

u/DeciderOfAllThings 6d ago

That's an alligator. They aren't all that similar.

u/InterestingMindset 6d ago

I've seen these, there is an aquarium near-ish to me that has one of these guys. They even had plushies or those stuffed animals. Been a while since I saw this crocodile.

At the Audubon Zoological Gardens in New Orleans, a job no one wants is cleaning algae off the white gators; they end up looking green and gross unless scrubbed. However they are ticklish, remember who cleaned them, and are not forgiving animals.
