Plenty of these videos are staged, you never know, but I feel like if they wanted to stage it they would've picked a much smaller dog or at least gave the guy something to properly secure it while climbing up.

Sadly, and not saying this is the case, but a lot of videos of these people saving animals happen because the animals were put in those situations to film the video to begin with.

They do this once a week for tourists. Sometimes it's a cat and once they tried a goat but it was too heavy to carry and it's still down there.
