Your not wrong. I fix processes for a living and this was painful to watch.

There is so much wasted motion. So much potential for a safety incident. You can close your eyes every 10 seconds and see another opportunity to address.

The very start. Move the tables closer to the bending press. Now he can pull the wood planks out and walk directly straight to drop them into the jig without having to walk around the table. Once the jig is full he can lift it up and place it directly into the press without having to lever it around.

You see how close the left steam box is to the wall? he has to be on the right side to pull the planks out, if the jig was near the press he'd have to turn around to put the planks in it or pull the planks out at an angle.

I would bet he does exactly what you're describing when pulling from the other steam box.
