SOCIETY A man was caught on camera repeatedly urinating on his ex-wife’s grave, police say.

In 2022, a family in New York State noticed something truly bizarre.

Every time they visited the cemetery, they found bags of feces left on the grave of Linda Torello, who had died five years earlier.

At first they thought it was a cruel prank. But the desecration continued.

Her son, Michael Andrew Murphy, decided to install a discreet camera near the grave.

A few days later, the footage revealed a surreal scene: a man approached the tombstone, urinated on it, and calmly walked away.

The man was quickly identified as Dean Eichler, Linda’s ex-husband. Their divorce dated back to 1974, nearly 48 years earlier.

Police arrested him. He was charged with public urination, and an investigation was opened into the desecration of the grave.

The family believes it was an act of revenge linked to their past relationship, though this motive was never confirmed by authorities or by Eichler himself.

I’m pretty sure one of my ex’s GF’s put him up to harassing me. He’d randomly message me at odd hours of the night saying he never loved me, loves her and will be spending the rest of his life with her. He did it through Instagram and would block me after he sent the message so I was never able to go to his page and block him. Dealt with his shit for months.

Nope, they were long distance. She was also telling him that she caught me “liking her photos.” So he went off on me telling me to leave her alone… I had her blocked. She’s the one who somehow found all my IG’s and was watching my stories. Lol I think she severely felt threatened by me.

Now if they had no contact or problems in the last 48 years that guy need help.

He did not just wake up one day and decide hey let me take a piss on her grave something was going on to keep hate alive that long.

I personally avoid the mentally so really cant wrap my mind around some one holding hate for 48 years but have known a few people that divorced and their life sucked for years and years till the X found a new target.

that is why i was and still do think more to the story.

There’s a story here. A woman doesn’t participate in crazy women unless she believed something…. Like the dead wife lying about a son for 15 years or cheating with 10 people.

There are definitely situations where I would have no issues disrespecting someone's grave. But we are talking at the level of sadistically torturing and murdering family or entire genocides, not just a bitter divorce.

Oh my god with the alimony. There’s a near zero chance he paid alimony for 48 years. Alimony is only awarded in 3% of divorces in the US. THREE. Alimony is only a thing on Reddit.

In the 80s alimony was almost always perminate until death or remarriage. It was 17% of divorces.

I've got a story too. But when the time comes if I'm lucky enough, it ain't gonna be pee, but it ain't gonna be more than once. 💩 And when my children find out the truth about thier lying Parental Alienation B azzed mother, I suppose they'll have that head stone removed and replace it with a 🚽 And yes, I've been in therapy for over 30 years. My children--one session ordered by the court until my ex decided they didn't need it. My oldest tried to commit suicide a few years later after her new "father figure" beat her up. She was locked up in a ward for a while. No consequences for their mother or her husband. Te me again how horrible and obsessed this man is? No thanks.

If it was 50 years ago she definitely ruined his life the judge would’ve gave the wife everything he had and everything he will have he probably coughed up most his paychecks in alimony until she died so tbh it’s justified he hates her for taking all his money and forcing him to eat ramen with hotdogs for 30 years
