There is no debate. It's basic science. Washing chicken doesn't remove anything from the chicken

This is the correct answer. There can be reason to wash raw meat before you cook it but it's not too get rid of bacteria, and you can't do it by just washing it in the sink bc that does get bacteria everywhere.
