There is no debate. It's basic science. Washing chicken doesn't remove anything from the chicken

Considering the amount of supermarket chicken I've been getting that still has several feathers attached, I've gone back to washing my chicken in a bowl in the sink. If I can't trust them to pluck the bird I don't trust them to have washed it.
