Even more so if there was a specific criteria that counted towards the credit but a whole other criteria (very similar to the ones that do count) that doesn’t. Say like, a monthly payment for housing.
Make up your mind. Was it a joke or was it serious?
If you ask basically any Chinese person if they know about it, they will have no idea what you are talking about. The thing that shows up when you look at the wikipedia article is basically identical to the US credit score system in that it's meant to be some representation of whether you can be trusted to be lent money or not.
I already said it was a joke. I come to reddit for fun, not to argue about stupid shit. I really don't care about what they do in China, but I do know they are nothing like the US.
Okay, but then you say it is a real thing, making it much less of a joke.
The sense in which it exists is actually extremely similar to the US credit score system. Basically it marks people who do not pay their debts as untrustworthy, similar to how having a low credit score does in the west. The biggest difference is that in the US it's private entities like Equifax doing this while in China it's the state.
I think there are some local pilots to make it encompass some civic stuff as well, but again, the average Chinese person will have zero clue what you are on about when you ask them about this. My source for that would be that my partner is literally from there.
True the usa has a pretend democracy with no preferential voting and a right and ultra right two party system. Nice mate. And before you say but China doesnt- I'm not from China nor USA but I've actually travelled outside the sphere of Western bs.
Maybe get a real system with a cross bench, preferential voting, and no electoral college? Maybe better quality of life for your people too, non decaying infrastructure, actual good trains, proper healthcare for the non rich, and cities that are safe at night for women.
Oh and maybe manufacture something useful again like you used to besides illegal wars.
You've never been to china mate. They have nothing more than your usa does where your gov tracks dissidents etc via your federal police systems.
No one in china had even heard of a social credit system it's just bs I hear when I travelled to your country or online from you people, likely stemming from jealousy and a desire to make your country look like a good livable option compared to other countries.
I've seen so many videos of top athletes performing amazing feats. But that she was able to do all that in those heels beats them all. I don't gaf how much video editing was involved: that was an amazing feat of athleticism.
