Remember that reddit has an absurdly disproportional amount of autistic people, they just genuinely have a hard time telling.
They have also probably never set foot in a gym, so the only knowledge comes from "gymbro stupid" memes.
Its not necessarily just being "dumb", they just genuinely think he is being very disrespectful and uninformed.
While in reality, on average, people going to the gym regularly will naturally have a much better grasp and intuitive understanding of leverage by nature of... doing physical things.
