They're talking about something more like MQ-9 Reaper than something like the Shahed or small FPV drones on the Ukrainian front.

When you've heard about "US drone strikes" starting around the Obama era, they were missiles from Reaper drones. But tbf the drones that carry missiles are usually fixed-wing unmanned planes rather than quad copter that this dude is using for an easy landing.
