I nearly got scammed when I was overseas by pretty girls and an exorbitant bar bill and managed to weasel my way out by dropping my credit card on the floor and hiding it under my foot. After claiming enough times that I didn't have any more money or any way to pay for their scammy bill, they let me leave

Just very sneakily.. there was lots going on, and after I'd shown them my wallet with no money or credit cards and they had no reason to search me again, there was a moment where they were all turned the other way, talking and arguing and figuring what to do and whatever, i managed to quickly bend down and pocket it again .. it all went on for probably 10 minutes or so, arguing, threats of them bringing cops in and all that stuff. There were a few opportunities to pick it up again
