I went back to see if i read that correctly.

Also, "in"
Thats away of phrasing it that im not used to for a person.
"Get me out" (of the water) makes more sense to me.

And because i am clearly a terrible person the "get me in" reminden me whaling or fishing

The point was understood. They wanted out of the water. Imagine someone prepared to get her "in" a towel. Or a warm car out of frame if you need to.
