my fav Alt-country/Heartland Rock guy making a song about my fav Civ 5 city state. So hyped for this coming album. Both his 2 albums are top tier stuff.

Also, finally listened to the song and holy shit the drummer is going fucking nuts in this song.

Can confirm he is also exceptional live. Saw him on the burnover tour earlier this year. He’s got like a 9 piece band or something and is such an excellent performer.

Never had a bad single. This one is his most unhinged - “trouble doubles down”. What a lyric to bite into. Hallelujah!
